WonderGround: A week long celebration of culture and creativity in Lincoln coming May 2026. A LocalMotion project.

Over the last few months I've been chatting to people across the city about the range of creative talent that doesn't get platformed or celebrated - and with that, the creative people who don't feel like they fit into a box.

People whose art is made on their bedroom floor, in the community groups they socialise in, or is hidden away in their phone. I'm lucky enough to see this talent on a daily basis through the work that I do, and I'm hearing a consistent desire to celebrate the diversity of creative talent that is already happening across this city.
